Naim Süleymanoğlu’s identify turned into immortal
The title of the arena and Olympic champion national weightlifter Naim Süleymanoğlu was given to the road in Fatih District with the decision taken via the Edirne Municipality council. CHP Deputy Chairman Faik Öztrak, Muharrem Erkek, Edirne Mayor Recep Gürkan, Mayor of Bulgaria Mestanlı İlknur Kazım, Naim Süleymanoğlu’s brother Muharrem Süleymanoğlu, other people from Bulgaria, athletes and electorate attended the outlet ceremony of the street, where the mythical weightlifter was named.
CHP Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Faik Öztrak reminded that Naim Süleymanoğlu escaped from the oppressive regime in Bulgaria and lower back to Ata lands in 1986.
